Raven Flute This flute from Willow came to me via a detour in 2018 it was a Raven flute just when I ordered one from him, I received a message from a flute player that she had received a raven flute, but it didn't play well for her
I knew that problem had encountered this myself once. Flutes made from a branch can have a natural shape or knots in some places that make it difficult to play. She played with her left hand above and that did not play well on this flute. I play with my right hand above and this flute was perfect for that. So the raven from England flew in my direction with a small intermediate stop. The tone was a G# and I didn't have it yet. Walking stick whistle When I turned 60 I was of course asked what do you want for your birthday. The slogan of years ago "a smart girl is prepared for her future" helped me with my choice of this gift. I had seen walking stick flutes from Willow and I always find a flute from a branch special. I asked him to make one for me. He had a nice piece of wood that was dry enough to work with. Washed it off right away. The wood was twisted, which gave it a beautiful appearance, this shape is created because a Wingert grows around the wood and pulls itself tight, the tree grows, as it were, around the Wingert. The Hazel Tree actually has all branches as a trunk here under a photo.
